...Elevated fire weather conditions on Thursday in the Coastal
Range due to breezy winds and low daytime relative humidity values...
.DISCUSSION...
Warm weather and periodically breezy winds continue, with isolated
afternoon and evening mountain thunderstorm chances through
Thursday. Best chances for thunderstorms exists along the Sierra
and southern Cascades and Burney Basin today. Any thunderstorm
that develops will impose the risk of lightning on dry fuels,
along with gusty and erratic winds. Breezy winds and low humidity
values on Thursday will introduce a period of elevated fire
weather conditions primarily in the Coastal Range. Cooling and
drying trend begins on Friday.
