Range due to breezy winds and low daytime relative humidity values...

.DISCUSSION...
Breezy onshore winds and low humidity values will continue a
period of elevated fire weather conditions into tonight, primarily
for the Coastal Range. There is a slight chance of isolated
mountain thunderstorms tonight over the mountains of Shasta
County, with highest potential around midnight. Cooler, below
normal temperatures are expected on Friday. Dry weather is
forecast for Friday into next week, along with gradually warming
temperatures and lighter winds.
