...Elevated fire weather conditions into tonight for the Coastal
Range due to breezy winds and low daytime relative humidity values...
.DISCUSSION...
Breezy onshore winds and low humidity values will continue a
period of elevated fire weather conditions into tonight, primarily
for the Coastal Range west of the northern San Joaquin Valley. Dry
weather continues, except for a small chance (10%) of isolated
mountain thunderstorms into this evening over the mountains of
northern Shasta County. Cooler, below normal temperatures continue
into Saturday, then trend to near normal Sunday and Monday. Cooler
weather with breezy onshore flow returns Tuesday, with highs
trending to above normal by the end of the week.
