.DISCUSSION...
Warm weather and periodically breezy winds continue alongside
isolated to scattered mountain thunderstorm chances through
midweek, with a cooling and drying trend into late week. Nocturnal
thunderstorm chances possible across northern and central
Sacramento Valley and surrounding terrain late tonight into early
Tuesday morning, with additional chances in the afternoon/evening.
Chances shift toward the Sierra/southern Cascades on Wednesday.
Lightning on dry fuels are the primary concern, although gusty,
erratic winds will be possible near thunderstorms as well.
