...SLIGHT CHANCE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TODAY OVER THE COAST
RANGE, SHASTA COUNTY, AND SOUTHERN CASCADES...
Cool temperatures with improving humidity expected today as
breezy west to south onshore winds continue. Winds not quite as
strong as yesterday`s, with gusts around 15 to 20 mph through the
Delta and Sacramento Valley. A slight chance of thunderstorms are
in the forecast mainly along the Coast Range, northern Shasta
County, and southern Cascades this afternoon and evening leading
to fire weather concerns from lightning ignitions. Dry weather is
expected elsewhere. A warming and drying trend begins Friday and
continues into next week.
