.DISCUSSION...
Cooler temperatures, breezy onshore winds, and thunderstorm
chances continue through the end of the week. A Fire Weather Watch
remains in effect from 5 am through 9 pm Thursday for Sierra
locations above 3000 feet as isolated thunderstorm chances
increase to 15-30%. A wet/dry mix of thunderstorms is the primary
risk, with potential for new fire starts. A low chance for
isolated dry thunderstorms in the Valley remains, but 5-10%
probabilities are shifting primarily toward the Sierra foothills.
Mountain thunderstorm chances will continue through Friday
afternoon, with chances falling below 10% by the weekend.
