.Synopsis...
Breezy northerly winds are expected through this afternoon.
Warming and drying trend will continue through the weekend into
early next week with Minor HeatRisk and periodically breezy winds.
Cooler mid to late next week, with the potential for some
unsettled weather over the mountains.

.Key Messages...

* Today: Above normal temperatures this afternoon with locally breezy
  northerly winds across portions of the the western Sacramento
  Valley.

* Saturday - Wednesday:

-A warming trend continues through the weekend and into early
  next week with Minor HeatRisk across the Valley, Delta, and
  foothills. Probability of high temperatures 80 degrees F or
  higher: 50-85% (Saturday-Sunday) and 70-100% (Monday-Tuesday).

-Diurnally driven winds resume with increased Delta breeze flow in
     the afternoons and evenings this weekend and into next week

    -A period of breezy northerly winds is expected during the day
     Monday with a 40-70% probability of wind gusts > 25 mph for
     the western Sacramento Valley

* Mid - Late Next Week: Cooling trend with periodically breezy
  winds. Potential for light showers late next week, mainly over
  the mountains north of I-80.

VFR conditions across interior NorCal over the next 24 hours.
Breezy north winds are expected through the Valley with gusts 15
to 25 kts until around 00z-03z Saturday with easterly winds over
the Sierra gusting 15 to 30 kts until around 06z-12z Saturday.
Otherwise, surface winds 12 knots or less.
