Please broadcast the message at approximately 60-minute intervals
starting Friday July 31, 2026, through Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The National Marine Fisheries Service announces that the
recreational sector for gag in South Atlantic federal waters is
closed effective August 2, 2026 and remains closed through December
31, 2026. During the recreational closure, the bag and possession
limits of South Atlantic gag are zero. For more information, call
