SUBJECT: Fisheries Message

Please broadcast the message below at approximately 30-minute
intervals beginning this Sunday, November 24, 2024, through Tuesday,
November 26, 2024.

Attention: The National Marine Fisheries Service
announces that the commercial and recreational sectors for lane
snapper in Federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico are closed effective
at 12:01 a.m., local time, November 26, 2024 through December 31,
2024. During the closures, the commercial and recreational harvest
of lane snapper is prohibited and the recreational bag and
possession limits are zero. These bag and possession limits also
apply in the Gulf on board a vessel for which a valid Federal
charter vessel and headboat permit for Gulf reef fish has been
issued, without regard to where such species were harvested. For
