With the active pattern maintained, transport winds and mixing heights are largely expected to continue to support excellent afternoon clearing index values. Moving into the weekend a ridge of high pressure will become a more dominant influence, resulting in a general drying and warming trend. Some pockets of more modest clearing index values look possible Saturday, but it then appears transport winds and mixing remain sufficient for fairly widespread excellent clearing Sunday into early next week.
