289 FNUS75 KSLC 020708 SMFSLC Smoke Management Forecast National Weather Service Salt Lake City Utah 1249 AM MDT Mon Jun 2 2025......ADeSmet .DISCUSSION...A low pressure system will cross the region through Monday, bringing widespread wetting rains to the southern half of the state, with patchy wetting rains for the eastern half of the state. This combined with elevated transport winds and good mixing will again result in good to excellent mixing across all air sheds Monday. An unsettled pattern through Tuesday will continue to ensure good to excellent mixing across most of the state. A trough moving through the state Wednesday will reinvigorate showers and thunderstorms across southern Utah, while briefly lighter winds thanks to the presence of a low pressure trough will result in slightly reduced mixing and clearing across northern Utah.
