As a result, mixing heights and transport winds will be more limited, and clearing index values across most air sheds will fall in the fair to poor range. By early next week transport winds and mixing heights trend slightly back upwards, and clearing index values also trend upward slightly. This will be most noted at higher elevations and northern locations, with some airsheds pushing more into the fair to good range accordingly, though many will still remain in the fair to poor range.
