However, with good surface heating, mixing heights will remain high enough to maintain excellent mixing across the area. Transport winds will increase again beginning tomorrow, bringing excellent mixing to most areas. The only exception will be across northwest Utah, where weaker transport winds and lower mixing heights under a more stable airmass behind a passing disturbance will hold clearing indices a bit lower. Excellent mixing can then be expected areawide through at least midweek.
