472 FNUS75 KSLC 021001 SMFSLC Smoke Management Forecast National Weather Service Salt Lake City Utah 347 AM MDT Sat Aug 2 2025......Cheng .DISCUSSION...Warm, dry, and breezy conditions will remain the norm through the early part of next week for the bulk of the forecast area. The exception will be tomorrow, when high pressure settles over the area and winds decrease. Despite weaker transport winds, mixing heights will remain on the high side, helping to maintain high clearing indices. Additionally, models are bringing somewhat cooler and more stable air into northwest Utah for Tuesday, which would result in a pocket of decreased mixing.
