Today, showers and thunderstorms are expected to be confined across northern UT. Otherwise, the remainder of the state should remain dry. This dry period is expected to continue through at least Wednesday. For the majority of UT, strong southwesterly transport winds and sufficient deep mixing will yield excellent clearing indices for the period. Mixing will continue to remain good to excellent with an incoming monsoonal surge Wednesday and Thursday.
