...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 10 PM MDT THURSDAY FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 483, 484,
AND 494...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Red
Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from noon to 10 PM MDT Thursday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 483 Southern Ashley National
  Forest, Fire Weather Zone 484 Tavaputs Plateau and Fire
  Weather Zone 494 Henry Mountains.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 to 35 mph
  during the afternoon and evening.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 5 to 8 percent. Very poor
  overnight humidity recoveries through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
  new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and hot temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
