...EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 110
  possible, except up to 115 for Lower Washington County and Zion
  Canyon. Warm overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s will offer
  little relief.

* WHERE...Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell, South Central
  Utah, Lower Washington County, and Zion National Park.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
