.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to
develop Friday afternoon over the Salt Lake Valley, with higher
coverage of storms over the Wasatch Mountains. Any storms that
develop will be capable of producing lightning and brief periods
of gusty and erratic outflow winds in excess of 30 mph. These
storms will dissipate through the evening, likely by 8-10pm.
Outside of any storm outflow, expect south winds to persist with
seasonably hot temperatures.
