.DISCUSSION...Drier conditions expected through Saturday as prior
system departs the region. Winds will gradually increase, with
some gusts around 20-25 mph mixing in during the afternoon hours.
A weak grazing system will bring about an increase in cloud cover
Sunday, as well as a low end chance of a shower (10% chance or
less), but otherwise conditions look similar to that of Saturday.

For the upcoming week, the forecast pattern looks to be
progressive and feature a back and forth of weak grazing systems.
Precipitation with these systems will be more likely at points
further north, but at the burn site most afternoons will see
around a 10-20% chance of a shower or two. Wetting rains do not
appear likely, and given the general favoring of dry conditions,
afternoon minimum relative humidity values will tend to be in the
upper teens to low 20 percents. Winds will follow a similar
pattern day to day, with directions generally favored out of the
west, sustained magnitudes around 7-15 mph, and daytime gusts
increasing into the 20-30 mph range. Afternoon max clearing index
values each day are currently forecast to be excellent, 1000+.

While specifics/details are murky this far out, some models suggest
a little deeper of a system approaching Friday. If so, this would
increase southwesterly flow, and in turn increase winds with gusts
more in the 30-40 mph range.
