.DISCUSSION...Conditions near the fire are expected to be hot and
dry through the forecast period. Diurnal winds are forecast to
occur with winds shifting to northerly around 0900-1200 over each
of the next three days with gusts to 20-25mph, locally higher
gusts in excess of 30mph are possible along ridgelines. Winds
will then shift to southerly drainage around 2100-2400 each
evening and taper off somewhat. Poor overnight recoveries are
expected each day within the forecast period, though Sunday may
see some improvement with humidities potentially breaking into
the low 20% range.
