.DISCUSSION...Hotter and drier conditions are expected over the fire
area today, with high temperatures increasing by around 3 degrees
and humidity falling by around 5 percent as compared to Friday.
As such, high temperatures are expected to push into the mid-100s
for the lower elevations of the fire area, and into the high-100s
along SR-9. Hot temperatures and little to no cloud cover will
bring elevated probability for heat related illness this afternoon
and likely beyond. There is a low end chance (up to 10%) for
isolated showers to form over the high terrain immediately north
of the fire area, with an even lower chance for lightning. Expect
winds to be generally light and terrain driven throughout the day.
If any showers do develop over the high terrain, watch for gusty
outflow winds from the north, with speeds potentially in excess
of 25-30 mph.

.REST OF TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (5-15 percent cloud cover).
Chance of pcpn......5-10 percent.
Chance of lightning.5 percent.
Max temperature.....103-106.
Min humidity........10-14 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Terrain driven (upslope) 4-7 mph. Occasional
gusts from the west around 15 mph after 1100.
