.DISCUSSION...A progressive pattern will hold for the upcoming week
with mostly weak grazing systems passing by to the north. The
first of these on Monday will push a cold front southward,
stalling somewhere across central Utah. Given a lack of moisture
with the system, expect only a low end chance of some light
showers. After a drier day Tuesday, another system will push a
cold front towards the burn area Wednesday afternoon to Wednesday
evening. Anticipate a few more showers with this in comparison to
the Monday system, but still overall low odds to see any wetting
rains at the burn site. By Friday another system will be
approaching through the Great Basin. Through midweek, winds will
favor a west to northwest direction with modest afternoon gusts.
The days with stronger gusts will likely be those with a weak
system passing through. The back half of the work week will see
daytime winds favor a bit more west to southwest direction. For
each day, maximum clearing index values are forecast 1000+.
Barring some unforseen stronger showers/wetting rains, day to day
afternoon minimum relative humidity values look likely to fall in
the 20-30% range or so.
