.DISCUSSION...Currently, convective activity remains confined to areas
north and east of Zion. Hi-res guidance also suggests that this
convection will stay north and east of the park through the
remainder of the afternoon into the early evening before all
convection dissipates quickly after sunset. There is still an
isolated chance (~10%) that a storm could quickly develop over the
region with heavy rain and lightning being the primary threat.
Otherwise, winds will be relatively light with skies remaining
mostly clear.
