.DISCUSSION...An area of strong high pressure will remain in place across
Utah, bringing warm temperatures, terrain driven winds, dry
conditions, and limited mixing through at least Wednesday. While
mixing will deepen marginally on Tuesday, low mixing paired with
weak transport winds will keep clearing in the poor category. By
Wednesday, further deepening of the mixed layer is expected
alongside stronger transport winds, favoring much better clearing.
Aside from limited mixing, temperatures will see minimal changes
on both Tuesday and Wednesday, with relative humidity remaining
around 20 to 25 percent during the afternoon hours on Tuesday and
Wednesday. Overnight humidity recoveries are expected to be
between 35 to 40 percent.
