.DISCUSSION...Rain showers continue in the vicinity of the fire
through around 1000, followed by a brief lull activity before
widely scattered showers and thunderstorms develop after noon and
continue through around 1800, becoming more isolated through
2200. Storms today will be capable of producing brief heavy
rainfall, lightning, and gusty and erratic outflow winds to 45 mph
through this period. Expect activity to quickly taper overnight,
with drier conditions continuing Thursday as high pressure
strengthens across the western US. Critically dry conditions
develop through the remainder of the week, and when paired with
unseasonable heat, will result in heightened fire weather
conditions through at least this weekend.
