.DISCUSSION...Monsoonal moisture will remain in place through early
this week prior to a more notable drying period beginning Tuesday.
At the time of this writing a band of showers and isolated thunderstorms
remain just to south of the area, but trends do support this band to
gradually lift north around sunrise, lasting intermittently through
0900. Thereafter, chances for showers and thunderstorms will once
again increase this afternoon into this afternoon prior to dissipating
once again. Modest southwesterly winds are expected to redevelop
this afternoon, with exposed areas to southerly winds likely seeing
gusts into the mid 20 mph range. Dry conditions are expected for the
majority of the overnight hours tonight through tomorrow morning prior
to another round of elevated shower and thunderstorm potential Monday
afternoon and evening.
