.DISCUSSION...A storm system that will primarily affect northern Utah
will come with light snow for the southern mountains. Snow
showers are likely through most of Wednesday, but accumulations
will be light, ranging from a trace to 1 inch with water values of
a trace to 0.05 inch. The enhanced northwest winds with the cold
front that will push through early Wednesday will push clearing
index values to above 500 although mixing heights will be low.
This could be the best clearing of the week, with another storm
system for northern Utah Friday into the weekend that could bring
claring index values around 500 again Friday.
