.DISCUSSION...Enhanced southwest winds will bring good clearing Thursday
as a storm system approaches from the west. That storm will split
and stay off the west coast into the weekend. That will result in
similar weather conditions Friday, largely dry with gusty
southwest winds. There will be isolated rain showers Friday
afternoon, with any precipitation being light and totals of
0.00-0.05". Winds will be lighter Saturday with dry conditions
continuing. As the storm tracks into the southwest U.S. and lifts
into Utah Saturday night into Sunday, precipitation will be more
likely. For this location, rain or rain mixed with snow Sunday
afternoon will transition to all snow Sunday night. Models yield a
high probability for wetting precipitation from this storm
system, but there is lower confidence on details.
