.DISCUSSION...A dry, mild and stable airmass will remain over the area
today. Mixing will remain limited which will keep the Clearing Index
well below 500. Temperatures will trend 3-5 degrees warmer this afternoon.
Southwest winds will increase late tonight through Saturday morning
ahead of an approaching cold front. This will result in excellent
mixing Saturday. Moisture will increase ahead of this front as well,
bringing a chance for snow showers Saturday morning and early afternoon.
The front will cross the area around 1500 switching winds to the west,
and bringing a round of snow Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.
Total snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches is expected before snow tapers
off Sunday morning.
