.DISCUSSION...A departing storm system will exit the area later this
morning, leaving behind approximately 3-5 inches of snow across the
burn site, according to models. One more day of fair mixing/clearing
is expected today before a ridge of high pressure gradually builds across
the western U.S. Utah will remain on the eastern edge of the ridge
through Friday, before the ridge builds overhead this weekend and
remains in place at least through the latter half of next week. This
will ensure around seven days of dry, stable conditions with poor
mixing and clearing. There is a low chance of a weak storm system
moving into the area in the December 6-10 timeframe, but dry, stable
conditions will persist until at least that timeframe.
