...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions will continue at the burn
site through much of the week. Some afternoon cumulus buildups may
be noted Monday afternoon. Best chances for any showers and
thunderstorms will remain north of the Idaho border, but there is
a very small chance this could develop over/near the burn site. If
this happens, gusty outflow winds to 40 mph will be possible, and
the most likely timeframe will be within the 1400-1900 window.

While a Red Flag Warning is in effect for the fire weather zone
for Monday, it is mainly for the southern part of the zone, while
the burn site itself is likely to see weaker winds and thus fire
weather conditions will not be as critical. Afternoon winds Monday
are expected to be from a near-westerly direction, with a shift
to increasing northwesterly winds beginning around 1700-1800 as a
weak frontal boundary pushes through the area. Winds Tuesday
afternoon are expected to settle into a more southwesterly
direction.
