.DISCUSSION...A notable uptick in south to southwest winds are expected
over the fire area today. Moisture will remain in place, allowing
for potential isolated shower and thunderstorm development after
1300. While the chance of seeing a cell move over the fire is low
(10%), nearby cells may still push outflow winds over the fire.
High level cloud cover will reduce the overall solar radiation
over the fire from the mid-morning through the mid-afternoon, with
skies clearing around 1500-1600. A significant drying is expected
on Wednesday, with minimum relative humidity values dropping by
as much as 15-20 percent as compared to today. In addition to the
stout drop in humidity, southwest winds are also expected to
remain breezy over the area, with speeds remaining elevated
through the overnight hours from today into tomorrow.
