.DISCUSSION...Moisture will increase into Utah today into
tomorrow as a storm system slowly makes its way across the area.
This will result in periods of scattered to broken sky cover and
an increasing chance of showers. For today, the showers are
expected to remain isolated and high-based, and largely north and
west of the burn site. On the outside chance a shower does occur
over the burn site, little or no precipitation is expected but
gusty and erratic outflow winds 30-40 mph will be possible. Shower
and thunderstorm chances increase tomorrow afternoon with
increased moisture. While wetting rain chances remain very low,
measurable amounts of rain will be possible. Despite increasing
humidity tomorrow, there remains a threat of gusty outflow winds
with any showers. The airmass will trend a bit drier on Monday,
then unsettled conditions will continue through much of the coming
week, with diurnal showers nearby, though not necessarily over
the burn site.
