...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT THE NORTHWESTERN QUADRANT
MUNICIPALITIES THROUGH 430 PM AST...

At 340 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Las Marias, Lares and San Sebastian. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Aguadilla, Aguada, Rincon, Moca, Anasco, Camuy, Quebradillas,
Hormigueros, San Sebastian, Las Marias, Isabela, Mayaguez, Lares,
Hatillo, La Playa, Aceitunas, Caban, Rafael Capo, Hato Arriba, and
Rafael Gonzalez.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
