AFTERNOON FOR THE SOUTH-CENTRAL AND WESTERN LOCATIONS OF PUERTO
RICO...

The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 5 PM AST this afternoon.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 014, 015, 018, and 027.

* WIND...East to east-southeast at 16 to 22 mph, with stronger
  gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Relative humidity values from the upper 30s to upper
  40s.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
