The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office in
San Juan has completed a major update to its Advanced Weather
Interactive Processing System (AWIPS). All NOAA Weather Radio
transmitters maintained by NWS San Juan were off air during the
installation, and the weekly test for Puerto Rico and USVI
transmitters, scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th was cancelled.

Nevertheless, as of now, all NOAA Weather Radio transmitters
maintained by NWS San Juan are on air and the weekly test will
be done today between 11 AM and 12 noon.
