A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Caribbean Waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the
  Coastal Waters of Saint Croix...
  Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Mona Passage Southward to 17N...

At 300 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over mainly areas of coastal southern waters of Puerto Rico , moving
southwest at 15 knots.  The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
Waterspouts cannot be ruled out.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
