292 FZCA72 TJSJ 021119 MWSSJU Marine Weather Statement National Weather Service San Juan PR 719 AM AST Sat Aug 2 2025 AMZ711-712-716-723-726-733-735-742-021400- Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico and USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N- Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM- Coastal Waters from Cabo San Juan to the waters between Anegada Island and Virgin Gorda and North 10 NM- Anegada Passage east of Virgin Gorda and Saint Croix south to 17N- Coastal waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and just north of Culebra and Saint John- Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the coastal waters of Saint Croix- Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM- Coastal Waters of Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM- 719 AM AST Sat Aug 2 2025 ...STRONG SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP... At 714 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong showers and thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and waterspouts. These thunderstorms were located over mainly near the Anegada Passage, Caribbean, and Atlantic waters. The strongest thunderstorms were located over the Atlantic waters. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. $$ MRR
