Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas, particularly across central and western PR. There is a low chance of localized urban and small streams flooding. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These conditions are most likely across the lower elevations of PR. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday An elevated excessive heat threat will return from Tuesday through Friday across most lower elevations of PR. Isolated thunderstorms are expected each afternoon over portions of the interior and western PR. Breezy conditions and a moderate risk of rip currents will prevail through the workweek. A tropical wave is expected to increase shower and thunderstorm activity by midweek. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
