593 FLCA42 TJSJ 100932 HWOSJU Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service San Juan PR 532 AM AST Fri Oct 10 2025 AMZ711>745-PRZ001>013-110945- San Juan and Vicinity-Northeast-Southeast-Eastern Interior- North Central-Central Interior-Ponce and Vicinity-Northwest- Western Interior-Mayaguez and Vicinity-Southwest-Culebra-Vieques- The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters- 532 AM AST Fri Oct 10 2025 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight .Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms. Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes, particularly across the interior and eastern sectors. There is a low chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained areas. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These conditions are most likely across urban and coastal areas. .Marine Conditions...Hazardous conditions for small craft in areas with seas of 7 feet or higher, particularly across the offshore Atlantic waters and Anegada Passage. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone, particularly across northern and eastern coasts, also Vieques and Culebra. These life-threatening conditions are possible across southeastern beaches, with isolated stronger rip currents possible elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties and channels. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Limited to elevated flooding risk is forecast during the next few days. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) continues monitoring Tropical Storm Jerry. This system is expected to move northeast of our area today. Hazardous marine and coastal conditions are in place through Saturday particularly across the offshore Atlantic waters and Anegada Passage. Heat risks will also possibly continue as Jerry promotes southerly flow through at least early Sunday. Residents and visitors should remain informed and monitor official updates from the National Hurricane Center and our local office. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is encouraged.
