Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, and small streams. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across the offshore Atlantic. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone particularly along the north and east, Vieques and Culebra. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday A wetter period is expected to unfold. For the rest of the weekend and next week, an approaching cold front and moisture coming from the Caribbean Sea will combine to generate additional periods of rain. This will increase the risk of flooding, mudslides and rapid river raises. Marine and coastal conditions will also deteriorate due to a northerly swell, with exercise caution criteria present, and high rip current risk criteria possibly present on Monday. The risk of rip current will be moderate for other days. The risk of heat will persist through the forecast period, except on periods with dense clouds. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
