This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible.
Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Life-threatening flash flooding, including
mudslides, entering structures and cutting off neighborhoods,
especially in flood prone areas and areas with saturated soils.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly across beaches of Puerto Rico`s northern
half, Culebra, and Vieques.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Showers, thunderstorms, and increasing winds generated by a
passing tropical wave will continue to pose a risk for excessive
rainfall, lightning, and breezy to windy conditions on Sunday. By
early next week, northerly swells will generate hazardous seas
and life- threatening rip currents to exposed coastlines. Warm
temperatures are also expected to return early next week.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
