This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution,
particularly across portions of the coastal waters of northern,
southern, and northwestern Puerto Rico, western-most sections of
the offshore Atlantic waters, the offshore Caribbean waters, and
the Mona Passage.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly across northwestern Puerto Rico. Isolated
stronger rip currents may occur elsewhere, especially near piers,
jetties, and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Although most of these hazard risks will persist throughout the
period, here is a breakdown of the highest threats: Excessive
heat from Sunday into Tuesday, and excessive rainfall mainly
Saturday night into Monday, will pose the greatest risks, driven
by significantly hot, humid conditions and passing tropical waves.
A daily lightning risks will persist, linked to afternoon
thunderstorms and enhanced by these waves. Breezy to locally
windy winds will continue each day, sustaining a moderate rip
current risk and, later in the week, contributing to choppy seas.

particularly across portions of the offshore Caribbean waters and
the Anegada Passage.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly across eastern Saint Croix. Isolated
stronger rip currents may occur elsewhere, especially near piers,
jetties, and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Excessive heat will pose a limited risk each day, while limited
flooding and lightning threats are expected from Sunday into
Monday due to passing tropical waves. Breezy to locally
windy winds will continue each day, sustaining a moderate rip
current risk and, later in the week, contributing to choppy seas.
