This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible. Be aware of
thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters and local Caribbean passages. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone, particularly across north-facing beaches of Puerto
Rico, including Rincon and Aguada.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Showers and thunderstorms, as well as increasing winds, generated
by a tropical wave will maintain the potential for excessive
rainfall, lightning, and breezy to windy conditions across the
region during the weekend. Marine and surf zone conditions will
improve over the weekend, but northerly swells will generate
hazardous seas and life-threatening rip currents by early next
week. Warm conditions will also return early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

drained areas. Urban and small streams flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters and local Caribbean passages. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.

surf zone of all the U.S. Virgin Islands.
