Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas, particularly across windward locations and over the northwest quadrant in the afternoon. There is a low chance of localized urban and small streams flooding. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These conditions are most likely across the urban coastal areas. .Wind...Breezy conditions (18-22 kts | 21-25 mph), particularly across southwest PR. Unsecured items could blow around. .Marine Conditions...Hazardous conditions for small craft in areas with seas of 7 feet or higher, particularly across the Atlantic Waters and Caribbean Passages. Small craft should exercise caution elsewhere across the local waters. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone, particularly across the north and east-facing beaches. These life-threatening conditions are possible from Rincon to Fajardo, Culebra and Vieques, with isolated stronger rip currents possible elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties and channels. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A long period northeast swell will promote life-threatening rip currents through Thursday. Hazardous seas up to 7 feet expected through midweek across the Atlantic waters and the Anegada Passage. Heat indices near 100F-103F are possible in the lower- elevations of PR through the end of the week. Those individuals extremely sensitive to heat could be affected by the warmer than normal conditions. A wet and unstable weather pattern will evolve from Thursday to the weekend, which could result in flooding rains due to thunderstorms. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
