This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms, particularly across
the interior. Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if
storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes, particularly across the interior and western
Puerto Rico. There is a low chance of isolated flash floods.
Elsewhere, plan for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained
areas.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These
conditions are most likely across western Puerto Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Thunderstorm development is expected each afternoon across portions
of Puerto Rico. The flood threat will be mainly elevated through
Wednesday, then will become limited from Thursday onward with the
entrance of a drier airmass into the region. A moderate or high
rip current risk will return across the north facing beaches of
the islands by early next week.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms, particularly across the
southwestern quadrant of St. Croix. Stay alert and be prepared to
take shelter if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas, particularly across St. Croix. There is a low
chance of localized urban and small streams flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Thunderstorm development is expected each afternoon, especially
on Wednesday, mainly across the surrounding waters. A moderate
rip current risk will return by early next week.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
