.DISCUSSION...
A mid-to upper-level ridge will promote drier conditions across
the area today, and the relative humidity is expected to drop
below 50% across the southern coastal areas of Puerto Rico.
Winds will continue to turn gradually more ESE today, with similar
wind speeds as yesterday at 10-15 mph. The KBDI remains just
above critical fire weather thresholds at Guanica (561), and well
below at Cabo Rojo (424), Maricao (344), and Vieques (397).
Therefore, the risk for fire danger continues to increase,
particularly between Guanica and Cabo Rojo.
