Over the last 24 hours, external and feeding bands of Hurricane
Erin have been moving across the local islands, bringing moderate
to locally heavy showers. This weather pattern is expected to
continue throughout the day, with relative humidity values likely
to remain above thresholds (around 60 - 65 % over the Southern
Hills and Coastal Plains of Puerto Rico and St. Croix in the U.S.
Virgin Islands). Given the current conditions and expected weather
forecast, the fire danger risk will remain once again low for
today.
