.DISCUSSION...
Today wind speeds are expected to increase along with a slight
reduction in RH values, with some that could even drop to the
lower 50s during peak hours of the day. However, soils remain
saturated and fuel vegetation is limited due to recent rainfall in
past weeks. Nevertheless, low soil saturation are present in the
far southern coastal plains of Puerto Rico. Therefore, is this
particular area, the fire danger threat could increase but will
remain very localized for the most part. We will continue to
monitor weather conditions throughout the day.
