Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Puerto Rico

.DISCUSSION...
A more stable air pattern is forecast across the islands due to
an areas of drier air resultin in RH values dropping to the near
mid to upper 40s. Additionally, an increase in surface winds are
forecast for today with surface winds from the east at 10 to 15
mph with gusty winds near the showers. Soil conditions in some
areas of the souther coastal plain of Puerto Rico might enhance
some brief fire danger threat, however widespread threat is not
forecast. Given the expected conditions, the fire danger risk
threat will remain in low to moderate.
