.DISCUSSION...
Typical seasonal weather conditions are expected across the
region. Showers are expected to move from time to time over
portions of the USVI and eastern Puerto Rico in the morning,
followed by afternoon convective activity over western Puerto
Rico. Today, KBDI values will remain above fire danger thresholds
across all sites as well the relative humidity due to the entrance
of patches of moist air into the region. Winds will prevail mainly from
the east today at 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts along the
southern coastal plains. At this time, the fire danger remains
low. However, we will continue to monitor the conditions closely
to see if conditions warrant.
