Saharan dust particles will remain in place today leading mostly
hazy skies with limited shower activity along the southern coastal
plains of Puerto Rico. For today, RH values will briefly drop in
the low 50s leading some possibility of wildfire spread. Winds
will remain from the east at 15 knots or less. Soils conditions
across the southern coastal plains remain favorable for fire
danger criteria. Given the expected conditions the fire danger
threat will remain moderate for today.
