...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM AST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
  counties, Ceiba, Fajardo, Humacao, Luquillo, Naguabo and Rio
  Grande.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 747 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fajardo, Naguabo, Luquillo, Rio Grande, Humacao, Vieques,
    Ceiba, Ramos, Anton Ruiz, Aguas Claras, Playa Fortuna, Hato
    Candal, Punta Santiago, Luis M. Cintron, Roosevelt Roads, La
    Fermina, La Dolores, Duque, Rio Blanco and Pena Pobre.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
